What started as a dream to bring more of our handcrafted Hawaiian body products to the Maui community has become a beautiful reality. Located in the heart of Kahului, our new storefront is more than just a place to shop. It’s a space to connect, breathe in the scents of the islands, and experience aloha in every detail.
A Special Grand Opening with Deep Roots
Our grand opening was filled with warmth, gratitude, and community. The Maui Chamber of Commerce honored us with a ribbon cutting, and the blessing of our space was led by Kimokeo Kapahulehua, a respected cultural practitioner known throughout Hawaiʻi for his unwavering dedication to preserving Hawaiian values and protecting the land and sea.
To have Kimokeo’s presence and blessing meant the world to us. His life’s work, from restoring fishponds to educating youth about cultural practices, is a reminder of what it truly means to be stewards of this place. We are humbled and inspired to carry that same intention into everything we do at Moku Pua.
Friends, ʻOhana, and Local Love
We were surrounded by friends, neighbors, and partners who’ve supported us on this journey. From fellow local businesses to the creatives and marketers who help us bring our story to life, we shared an afternoon of pupus, talk story, and lots of laughter. It was one of those Maui days that makes you pause and say, “This is why we do this.”
