Discovering a Daily Dose of Aloha
In 2013, a family vacation turned into something much more. What started as a trip to Maui became a lasting connection to the island’s beauty, culture, and the products that captured it so perfectly. Moku Pua's unique Hawaiian body products infused with the essence of local botanicals and the peaceful energy of the islands, quickly became a staple in our daily self-care routines.
For years, these handcrafted soaps, lotions, and mists were a way to carry paradise with us, no matter where we lived. Every scent, every texture, every ingredient told a story of island life. When the chance to take over Moku Pua came in 2022, we didn’t hesitate. We knew this wasn’t just a business, it was a calling.
A Family-Owned Operation with Heart
Today, Moku Pua is run by siblings Lisa and Sean and our trusted friend Mike, just the three of us behind the scenes, doing everything from hand-pouring soaps in our Maui factory to delivering orders across the island.
We’re a small, family-owned brand with big love for what we do. Each product is made with care, using clean ingredients and time-tested methods. We're proud to create products that are Maui made, cruelty-free, and inspired by the values that make Hawaii so special: sustainability, simplicity, and soul.
Island-Inspired Scents, Wherever You Are
From the beginning, Moku Pua has been about more than just what you put on your body, it’s about what you take with you. That feeling of stepping out of the ocean and into a warm breeze. That quiet joy of a plumeria tucked behind your ear. Today, we try to bottle that experience in every product we make. From rich body butters and refreshing mists to gentle lotions and exfoliating sugar scrubs, each one is handcrafted with care. Our natural Buggah Spray is a local favorite, and our roll-on perfumes are perfect for a quick scent refresh on the go. For hair, our tropical shampoos and conditioners round out the ritual. And of course, it all began with our artisan soaps swirled, poured, and cured on Maui. Every product is designed to remind you of Hawaiʻi, wherever you are.
The Journey Ahead
As we continue to grow, we remain grounded in the very things that brought us here: family, tradition, and the spirit of the islands. And now, with our first retail space in Kahului, we’re excited to welcome you into our world and share the Moku Pua experience face to face.
